2025: The Year of Zeal – How We Redefined Brand Protection for an AI-Native Era
- Brand Protection
For the brand protection industry, 2025 was a defining year of transition. At Corsearch, it was a year marked by honest assessment and ambitious innovation.
We recognized a fundamental shift in the commercial landscape: as online marketplaces expanded, bad actors became more sophisticated, hiding behind obfuscated keywords and altered images.
To lead in this new environment, we moved away from legacy platforms to launch one unified, AI-native solution: Zeal 2.0.
Our objective for 2025 was simple: Use AI to remove friction in brand protection.
We wanted to empower our partners to move faster and smarter, cleaning the online space with total confidence.
Here is a comprehensive look back at the technological milestones and innovations that defined our journey together this year:
Zeal 2.0 Breakdown: Technology That Sees What Humans Can’t
Zeal 2.0 isn’t just an update; it is a fundamental shift in how brand equity is defended. By leveraging AI at the core, we’ve developed capabilities that go far beyond manual human capacity.
1. Breaking the “Suspicious” Bucket: Counterfeit Pattern Detection
The sheer volume of online content remains the greatest hurdle in brand protection. This year, we focused on developing what we believe is the most disruptive AI model in the industry to date: Counterfeit Pattern Detection.
Historically, a vast amount of data was categorized as “suspicious” but lacked the evidence for immediate action. Our new model changes that. By automatically and proactively identifying emerging trends, visual elements, and behavioral patterns currently ignored by the market, Zeal 2.0 turns “suspicious” data into actionable content.
This technology shines a light on the broader counterfeit ecosystem, massively expanding the volume of identified infringements.
2. Dismantling Networks: The Seller Network
For too long, brand protection felt like a game of “whack-a-mole”—taking down one listing only to see another pop up. In 2025, we moved toward dismantling the source.
Our Seller Network feature utilizes advanced clustering algorithms to automatically group related accounts. By identifying shared emails, phone numbers, and cross-platform patterns, the platform reveals coordinated criminal networks.
Brand managers are able to take down the “head of the snake,” removing entire networks of bad actors in one strategic move rather than chasing individual posts.
3. Measuring What Matters: The Cleanliness Score
For years, the industry’s primary metric was: “How many takedowns did we perform?” – we realized that takedown volume doesn’t actually tell you if you are winning the war.
We are proud to be the first in the market to develop the Cleanliness Score. This unique technology measures the ratio of infringement on a specific platform compared to the total visible content in search results. For the first time, legal teams and brand managers can definitively answer the most important question in the room: “Is the platform actually clean?”
Our deliberate shift from “quantity of actions” to “quality of environment” allows for data-driven reporting that resonates in the boardroom.
Looking Ahead to 2026
Achieving these milestones would not have been possible without the trust and collaboration of our global clients. You have been an integral part of this journey, providing the feedback necessary to refine Zeal 2.0 into the powerhouse it is today.
As we look toward 2026, our commitment remains the same – we will continue to push the boundaries of what is possible, ensuring that your IP strategy isn’t just reactive, but a proactive driver of brand value.
